PAYMENT
What type of payment do you accept?
Payment is done via PayPal. You can use a credit or debit card with or without a PayPal account. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can still pay with your credit or debit card through PayPal. Contact me if you have any questions about that. I know it can be confusing sometimes, but I'm happy to help.
What if I can't pay via PayPal?
For customers living in Panama, I accept accept cash + check + wire transfer. Contact me for details.
SHIPPING
How long does an order take to make?
The majority of items in my shop are made to order + take approximately 3-5 business days to create. Items are shipped immediately upon completion.
Where are items shipped?
Unless otherwise arranged, I ship to the address listed in your account. I'm not responsible for packages not received because of incorrect address.
What shipping method do you use?
Domestic orders are delivered immediately upon completion by my personal + trustworthy messenger Alfred. International orders are shipped to it's new happy home immediately upon completion using Airmail Certificate via The Panamanian National Postal Office, a secure + reliable vehicle.
How long does it take for an order to arrive?
Delivery times vary depending on the destination. In super rare occasions, parcels get held up in customs, something that is completely beyond my control + this may delay shipping a bit. Thanks for your patience. If you need your order by a specific date, please contact me prior to purchasing + I'll do my best to have your item(s) ready on time.
What are shipping + handling costs?
Please keep in mind that my shipping + handling fees, not only include the price of postage, but also the price of materials. I pride myself in utilizing handmade eco-friendly or eco-forgiving packaging supplies + wrapping each + every one of my orders with the most care + love, so your order always arrives in perfect condition. Thanks for your understanding + for helping me take care of our planet. I appreciate it so much.
What happens if an order gets lost or delayed?
In the event of a lost or delayed package, I please ask that you wait 6 weeks before I resend your item. It has been my experience that even the most sidetracked packages, find their way in that time frame. If your item does not arrive after that time frame, I will resent a brand new one to you on me.
How are digital orders sent?
Unless otherwise arranged, all digital products are sent immediately after purchase to the e-mail address used in the transaction.
REFUNDS + EXCHANGES
Do you accept refunds + exchanges?
I want you to absolutely LOVE your product. Refunds + exchanges are gladly given if the item is damaged + misrepresented or even not quite what you thought it would be. Just e-mail me before sending it back + I'll do my absolute best to make you happy. Your satisfaction is extremely important to me.
However, kindly note, custom + digital products + bulk orders may only be returned + exchanged in certain instances, determined on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me with any questions prior to purchase.
GENERAL QUESTIONS
Do you accept wholesale orders?
Yes I do. For more information on pricing + availability, please e-mail at mayicarles [!at] gmail.com. When e-mailing me, please try to include the following information: items + quantity you're interested in carrying + brief description of store, so that I may accurately quote the cost + availability + time frame for delivery.
Do you accept consignment orders?
At this time I'm unable to consider any consignment opportunities. I'm very fortunate to be working with a number of wonderful boutique stores wouldn't be able to keep up with the demands of adding consignment stores. However, please be aware that you can still place wholesale orders.
Do you license your illustrations?
Yes I do. The way this works is that we discuss the terms of our agreement based on the time period + amount of designs involved + exclusivity. Feel free to contact me for details.
Are there any restrictions when purchasing digital files from your shop?
When you purchase my digital files you're granted an exclusive permission to utilize my designs for your own use + personal projects. You can't use my files to give away nor for commercial purposes. If you wish to be granted especial permission to utilize my designs for gifts + bulk printing + resale or any other special circumstances, please contact me for details about licensing.
